Privacy Policy
Last updated October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information CarvenWoodSigns ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website or order a sign, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, the text, logos and files you send for your sign, and your order history.
- Account details: if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Payment information: card and PayPal payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form, custom order form, email or social media.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as your browser, device, pages visited and cookies (see below).
How we use your information
- To design, make, ship and support your order, including sending you a digital proof to approve.
- To send order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your questions.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
- To improve our website and products. If you agree, we may also send occasional news and offers; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the shop: payment processors, shipping carriers, email and hosting providers, and analytics tools. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart and login working, remember your language and currency, and understand how the site is used. Language translation is provided by Google Translate, which may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for the order, warranty questions and our legal and tax obligations. Design files are kept so we can remake or reorder your sign; you can ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or limit how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and trusted payment providers to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.
Children
Our shop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
