These Terms of Service apply when you use the CarvenWoodSigns website and place an order. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Custom, handmade products

Every sign is made to order by hand from natural wood. Grain, color and knots vary from piece to piece, so your sign may differ slightly from photos. These natural variations are not defects.

Proofs and your content

• We send a digital proof before production. Please check spelling, names, dates and layout carefully; production starts only after you approve the proof.
• We are not responsible for errors in a proof you have approved.
• You confirm that you have the right to use any text, logo or artwork you send us, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may decline designs we consider offensive or unlawful.

Prices and payment

Prices are listed and charged in US dollars (USD). Amounts shown in other currencies are estimates for your convenience; your bank or card provider may apply its own exchange rate and fees. Payment is taken when you place your order, through our secure payment providers.

Production and shipping

Production times shown on the site are estimates and start after proof approval. Shipping times depend on the carrier and destination. Import duties and taxes for international orders are the buyer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

• You can cancel for a full refund before you approve your proof.
• Because each sign is personalized, we cannot accept returns for change of mind once production has started.
• If your sign arrives damaged or with an error we made, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and we will repair, remake or refund it.

Intellectual property

The website content, photos and our original designs belong to CarvenWoodSigns and may not be copied without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order applies to that order.
